Smith also co-hosts the acclaimed web series That Bites (named after Stinky Peterson's catchphrase from the show Hey Arnold!) with Johnson, Lori Jane Smith, Belle Armstrong and Madison R. Armstrong. The podcast began on January 3, 2011, and has several segments, including cooking (the main segment), chats, etc. Episodes are live on YouTube, and new episodes are released every Monday. In addition, she frequently insults President Donald J. Trump and endorses her father-in-law Sheldon Johnson, Jr. in his 2020 Presidential run.

Smith herself voiced Haku Yowane in the film. Notably Wendy Anne stood in front of Johnson and Smith to make herself look taller.

Msflag flat

Jenny Smith's design for the flag of Mississippi. Her motive was to "provide a more welcoming flag, especially to African-Americans", with its lack of a Confederate cross. The flag was also designed to compliment the American flag. Smith's flag was adopted by Mississippi in 2013 as the state's official flag. To quote Smith for the meaning of the circle of stars: "The outer circle of stars represents the thirteen colonies that formed our Union. The 13 stars also represent our time in the Confederacy without referencing a hateful symbol that stirs pain for many US citizens. While I don’t want to celebrate the Confederacy, it is a part of our history. The inner ring of six stars represents the six nations that have had sovereignty over the Mississippi territory (various Native American nations as a collective nation, French Empire, Spanish Empire, Great Britain, the United States and the Confederate States). The single star represents the state—as an individual but also a part of a larger history—and is the center of the flag. The single star also represents the five diverse regions of Mississippi. The twenty stars represent Mississippi as the 20th state to join the union. The red, white, and blue are taken from Mississippi (which are also referenced in the Choctaw’s flag) and US flags. White signifies purity and innocence, Red, hardiness & valour, and Blue signifies vigilance, perseverance & justice."

Jenny Smith's design for the flag of New York. Her motive was to provide a "more creative flag, and yet provide an ode to New York's past as a British colony", explaining why her flag is a recolored version of the pre-1801 Union Jack. Smith's flag was accepted by New York in 2016 as the state's official flag.
