With an area of +-1450 km2,ELC is a very small country.ELC is a dictatorial state with Alvarado Lopez as head of state.The economy is based on the exportations wiht Morroco mostly and based in the farming,other economical activities are residual after war,but the third sector (services) are experimenting a expantion for the Morrocan and Chinese tourist,the UE isolated the ELC for being illegal and inconstitutional. The Euro are the current money,but the UE cutted the entry of money to ELC since Spain retired from that zone in 2007.
Being the economy since that,a deteriorated economy with an estimaded HDI of 0.430,a very low HDI comparing it with the pre war index of 0.905
